Redundant Process Controllers, redundant System bus and Fieldbuses provides very high availability within all the three segments.Operator stations are designated to MAS, CAS or ESD, but amultifunctionality enables control and monitoring of all systems fromany operator station.
The ESD system works independently but connects to the othersegments via a redundant Router. The Router act as a fire wall, butat the same time enabling operator station multifunctionality andlogging of ESD signals to the IAS Trend and Event Archive.
